BSWC is a broad coalition of campaigners and activists aligned against wars, especially those in Afghanistan and Iraq, and the so-called "war on terror", coming together to raise awareness of the many factors influencing world events. BSWC has no political affiliation and no party line. BSWC is affiliated to the national Stop The War Coalition and individual members belong to CND, CAAT, and like-minded antiwar organisations. News and views are placed on the website for information, to foster discussion, and to give hope. "War is a journey without return; let us take another way...."
